Games and Sports are an important part of the student’s life. Students spend most of their time studying. Nowadays, their schedule has become very hectic due to the continuous competition. Parents want their kids to study all the time to gain good marks - neglecting the fact that games and sports are as important as studying for developing a sound mind in the sound body. Playing good games lead to the improvement of the mind whereas sports are the mean of getting physical strength. Games like Sudoku, Chess, scrabble, etc. can enhance mental skills. The competition they provide helps the mind to stay focused and make a decision in less time. They improve cognitive functions too. They make the brain powerful. On the other hand, sports are helpful in gaining bodily power. Sports like hockey, football, cricket, etc. improve the balance of the body and help it to react by using all the muscles.
